Considering this location is just down the street from the office we work at, we come here often, otherwise we would chose to pick a different one to spend our money at. Every time I have ordered there, I have never experienced so many employees with horrible attitude and impoliteness on numerous occasions. I only give this rating 2 stars because most of the time the food is good for the price, but even that could be better. This past time I was in the order I had was called in and the woman on the phone was really rude to me about how she took my order, asking questions like "What?!" instead of "Okay, anything else for you?" or "What was that, sorry I didn't catch it." I had worked in the industry for going on 9 years and yes we have bad days and yes customers can make us want to rip our hair out, but for those that don't there is no need to take it out on them. Leave your worries at the door. Along with this past visit, the woman who cashed us out didn't even smile or ask how she could help us she just starred at me and waited for me to talk. I'm sorry but you're the employee who is taking care of me , not the other way around. I shouldn't have to do your job for you. We try to give them a chance and there has been only 1 employee who gave me good service, to where I gave him a personal tip and told him to keep it because he was the nicest I have dealt with in the last 3 months we have ordered from there. There should definitely be a change of pace in the staffs attitude, or a whole new staff in general.

First off, love Qdoba. Eat at the one in Bloomfield Hills 2x a week. This one in Rochester has terrible service. Holy Moley. I'd recommend finding another place to eat. Flavors are good, but they really need to get service and cleanliness figured out.

Everytime I come here, I leave saying 'why didn't I just drive to Chipolte'? The workers are always PMSing. For every sauce or additional piece of vegetable, they charge an additional fee. Very obnoxious and Chipolte seems to survive without all of the crazy fees. Last week I ordered queso dip. They gave me a small container of queso. How about some chips? The great location is the only thing saving this location.

I had never had Qdoba, so I went to try it with my girlfriend, who has had it before. I'm a fan of Chipotle, so I wasn't expecting to dislike Qdoba, and I don't. After eating it though, I've decided it's even a little bit more Americanized than Chipotle -- I say that because the seasonings don't seem as authentic as Chipotle, not to say either are much at all like "real" Mexican food. What I find a bit odd about Qdoba is that its prices are a little higher than Chipotle, the portions appear to be the same or very similar, and yet Qdoba doesn't do the whole avoiding GMOs (for the most part) and having responsibly raised [insert animal] thing. I kind of always figured Qdoba was identical to Chipotle, but it actually is different... it tastes decidedly different, they have menu items Chipotle doesn't have (like nachos and queso), and also a rewards program dealie that I don't think Chipotle has. I like it about as much as I like Chipotle, but for different reasons, I guess. I can appreciate both for what they are. A good choice when you don't want "real" Mexican food but you also don't want to eat Taco Bell ... I'm not sure how often you'll be in that middle ground, but you probably will be at some point.

Was across the street at Planet Fitness & had an urge/craving ,but it was only 10:50. However I rolled in & saw they opened at 10:30 summer hours. I walked in, one gal working the line & ringing 2 people up. Then the manager popped out for a minute, offered no greeting or welcome or the international, "someone will be with you in one minute signal' So I started to wonder...time to bolt? BUT Haley saved the day, she greeted me & thanked me for waiting , then made two wonderful Naked Burritos! And before I committed to grilled chicken or the marinated pork , she provided me a sample of the new chorizo sausage [ I moaned as I tasted it, yes that good !] So i paid the $1.99 for double meat. marinated Pork /Chorizo Sausage She was also very generous with both rices & both beans. And provided me with 2 ladles of all 6 salsas When ordering naked burritos , you get free chips, BUT you must request them.Haley provided 2 bags, one for each bowl. 1st vibe 2 stars 2nd vibe & follow through, thanks to Haley 5 stars = 4

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
